Day 4

This is the last full day of camp here at the Creek. Today's theme for bible study was future. We learned how when we are adopted into the family of God that also changes our path and we gain a new future. We had dinner tonight at the Pavilon and the B B B BOAT RACE followed. Tonight during worship we took up our missions offering for India where a child will recieve the change to learn about Jesus Christ and also be provided some of their basic needs such as food and clothing. Our camp pastor spoke about how nothing is too big for the Lord, we just have to trust him and allow him to move in us. All in all this has been a wonderful week of camp. Until next time!

Day 2

Today was another full, exciting day here at Jonathan Creek. The Lord blessed us with warm weather and sunshine. The Theme of the day was "The Family." When we accept Christ into our lives we are adopted into his family. Our camp pastor, Mike Wilson, talked about when we become apart of God's family we also adopt his traits and characteristics. He felt called to open up the altar for those who felt led to make a decision and for those who needed to change something about their lives. After worship the churches broke into their checkpoint times. We ended the night with more fun, fellowship, and Chicken on a Stick at "The Shack."

I hear it in the Thunder and the Rain

Today was opening day here at the Creek.. The churches arrived and were greeted by our excited staffed. There was face painting, basketball, frisbee, cornhole, and a photo booth for the students to have fun and get to know our staff. During dinner it rained a little, but nothing that was going to dampen our fun. Worship went well; the students met their bible studies for the first time. We worshiped our God together and had an intro with our camp pastor Allen Jackson. After worship our students went to checkpoint. Checkpoint is a time for the youth group to meet and discuss their day. We ended the night with a dance party at "The Shack!" Although it was storming most of the night we still had fun, and we give God the glory for it all. Goodnight
