Blog: Camp 40 - June 25-27

40 hours later

After an amazing 40 hours here at Cedarmore, churches are packing up and getting ready to head back home.

Yesterday, we had a wonderful time. The morning was full of bible study time where we discussed our new family in Christ.

We spent the afternoon in the sun at the waterfront and our POIs. Then we had dinner on the lawn by the shack. After dinner we spent more time in bible study where we discussed our new and amazing inheritance in Christ.

During worship last night we had the opportunity to skype with a ministry in India. We got to speak with some of the children over there and pray together as a whole. After the skype call, we took up the India missions offering and saw our students truly sacrifice and give generously with all they had. Praise God!

The day ended with Crossings annual square dance and then MIDNIGHT SLURGEFEST!

What an incredible weekend. Thank you again for all your prayers. We had the opportunity to see many students cross over from death to life and there could not be anything greater than that!

God is good!

We are now into our eighth hour of camp 40 here at Cedarmore. Churches arrived on campus yesterday at four and we have been having an amazing time every since!

Yesterday the students all met their bible study leaders and had their first session on "Father." Jay Ridenour is our camp 40 pastor for the weekend. Pastor Jay talked about the goodness of our Holy Father last night and praise be to God, we saw many students come to know Christ for the first time!

After worship, everyone hung out down at the shack where there were games of basketball, volleyball and more. Also, the tango tower was open for an awesome time of night time last night until 12:30.

The day has only begun and I know its going to be a great and jam-packed one! Pray that God will use the many hours of fun and fellowship today to work in the hearts of all our students. We only have 40 hours together, but its going to be an incredible 40 hours!
